What is the AAI Foundation? The AAI Foundation promotes research projects, member education, stewardship and scholarships that benefit AAI members. A Board of Directors, who annually reviews all foundation requests, manages the AAI Foundation. The charitable goals of the Foundation reflect the interests of agribusiness industry and include Education, Stewardship, and Scholarships. Within these three areas, the Foundation assists applicants as it is related to the benefit of the ag retail industry. The Directors of the AAI Foundation have established specific guidelines for each of these funding categories. Corporations may deduct all contributions to 501(c)(3) organizations (regardless of foundation status) up to an amount normally equal to 10% of their taxable income.
